Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms govern your use of FCGOLD, including the mobile app, website, account, My Club Sync, player database, squads, SBC tools, social/community features and any future FCGOLD Premium services. By creating an account or using the service after being shown these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use FCGOLD.
2. Operator details
Privacy and support contact: support@fcgold.co.uk. Privacy and support enquiries: support@fcgold.co.uk. These Terms are a pre-release baseline until those details are completed and legally reviewed for the launch territories.
3. Eligibility and age
The planned minimum age for an FCGOLD account is 13, subject to final territory-specific review. If local law requires parental or guardian permission for you to use an online service or provide personal data, you must have that permission. Certain paid or social features may have additional age or store-account requirements.
4. Your FCGOLD account
You must provide accurate information, keep access to your authentication method secure and promptly tell FCGOLD if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. FCGOLD may require re-authentication for sensitive actions.
5. Google and email-code sign-in
FCGOLD may allow sign-in through Google and passwordless email verification. Third-party sign-in providers operate under their own terms and policies. FCGOLD does not promise that every sign-in method will always be available and may add or remove methods while maintaining a reasonable account-access path.
6. FCGOLD IDs and profiles
FCGOLD IDs may need to be unique and may be rejected, reserved, renamed or removed if they impersonate FCGOLD/EA staff, infringe rights, are deceptive, abusive, unlawful or technically problematic. Display names and profile content must comply with these Terms and any community rules. Reserved founder, staff, support, moderator and official-style identifiers may be protected.
7. What FCGOLD provides
FCGOLD is an independent football-game companion providing tools such as player information, squad building, favourites, user-provided My Club intelligence, SBC planning, market-related information, progression and community features. FCGOLD software, scoring and analysis are independently developed. Features may be experimental, incomplete, changed, paused or removed as the product develops.
8. Independent product and EA relationship
FCGOLD is an independent football companion and database app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or an official product of Electronic Arts Inc., EA SPORTS, EA SPORTS FC, FIFA, UEFA, any football league, club or player. FCGOLD is not currently an EA-approved FC Community API partner. FCGOLD is not currently an EA-approved FC Community API partner and must not be presented as providing an official EA account connection, official EA API access or EA-authorised automation.
9. My Club Sync and browser extension
My Club Sync is a user-directed, read-only companion feature. When the optional FCGOLD browser extension is available, you start the reader and browse Club → Players manually. The extension may read the player-card rows already rendered on the page and pass that selected inventory data into FCGOLD. It is not an official EA account sync or Community API connection, does not auto-navigate pages, and must not perform game, market or SBC actions on your behalf. Availability may change where third-party rules, interfaces or permissions change.
10. No credential harvesting or automated EA actions
FCGOLD must not ask for, capture, export or store your EA password or authentication cookies/tokens. The passive browser reader is limited to reading player information already rendered after your manual navigation. FCGOLD must not auto-navigate EA Services, intercept private EA network traffic or credentials, or automatically buy, sell, list, bid, submit SBCs, play matches or otherwise operate EA services on your behalf. The reader is an independent third-party tool, not an EA-approved Community API connection, and you remain responsible for your use of EA services and compliance with EA rules.
11. Third-party services and data sources
FCGOLD may link to or use data supplied by third-party services, public data sources or users. Those third parties control their own services and may change permissions, availability or content. FCGOLD must respect applicable provider terms and must not present third-party data, marks or media as FCGOLD-owned merely because they appear in the service. FCGOLD is not responsible for third-party outages or decisions to restrict access, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Football, card and market information
Player names, attributes, ratings, positions, prices, objectives, SBCs, evolutions, item availability, pack/game information and other factual game information may be compiled from user-provided information, public sources and permitted third-party sources, then combined with FCGOLD-created calculations and analysis. Data can change rapidly and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. FCGOLD does not guarantee that a displayed price, rating, card identity, market trend, SBC requirement or recommendation is current or error-free.
13. FCGOLD SBC Value
FCGOLD SBC Value is an FCGOLD-created relative score intended to help compare potential SBC usefulness. Unless a screen expressly states otherwise, an “SBC 63” style value is not an official EA point value, does not guarantee eligibility or submission value and should not be represented as official EA data.
14. No financial or investment advice
FCGOLD market information concerns virtual game items and is provided for entertainment/informational purposes. It is not financial, investment, gambling, tax or legal advice. FCGOLD does not guarantee profit, virtual-currency gains or future market movement.
15. Acceptable use
You must not use FCGOLD to break the law; compromise accounts or security; distribute malware; harass or threaten others; impersonate another person or organisation; exploit vulnerabilities; interfere with service operation; evade suspensions; access another user’s private data without permission; or use FCGOLD to automate prohibited actions on third-party game services.
16. Automated extraction and third-party services
You may use FCGOLD for normal personal companion use. Unless FCGOLD gives written permission or applicable law provides otherwise, you may not systematically scrape, bulk-extract, mirror, republish or commercially resell FCGOLD’s compiled databases, scoring systems, original interface content or service output in a way that substitutes for FCGOLD. FCGOLD applies the same principle to its own data collection: automated access to a third-party service should be used only where permitted by that provider, an applicable licence/API or law.
17. User content and community features
If FCGOLD later allows comments, public squads, reviews, messages or other user-posted content, you remain responsible for what you submit. You must have the rights needed to share it. FCGOLD may moderate, restrict or remove content that violates these Terms, law, safety rules or third-party rights and may provide reporting/blocking tools where appropriate.
18. Licence to user content
For content you intentionally publish through an FCGOLD community feature, you grant FCGOLD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, improve and promote the feature, subject to the Privacy Policy and any more specific posting terms. This licence ends when the content is deleted except for lawful backups, prior shares and records needed for safety/legal purposes.
19. FCGOLD intellectual property
FCGOLD branding, original interface design, software, scoring logic, written content, original graphics and other FCGOLD-created material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of FCGOLD intellectual property.
20. EA-sourced assets and third-party rights
EA, EA SPORTS, EA SPORTS FC and EA-sourced game assets, player portraits and related visual material remain owned by Electronic Arts Inc. and/or their respective licensors. FCGOLD does not claim ownership of those assets, and public accessibility of an asset does not by itself grant FCGOLD a licence to redistribute it. Other player images may be FCGOLD-created or sourced from public-domain, Creative Commons or other licensed sources. Those images remain subject to the rights, licence terms and attribution requirements of their respective rights holders. Player, club, league, competition and other third-party names, marks and likenesses are used only where needed for identification and description. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or partnership. These attribution and non-affiliation notices do not themselves grant FCGOLD a licence, API entitlement, partnership status or legal clearance to use third-party material. Production use of third-party assets and services remains subject to applicable permissions, licences, provider terms, laws and release review. Factual game data and independently developed calculations are treated separately from third-party software, artwork, photographs, logos, trade marks and other protected media. The presence of factual data in FCGOLD does not give FCGOLD ownership of third-party branding or media.
21. Feedback
If you voluntarily send product suggestions or feedback, FCGOLD may use that feedback to improve the service without payment or obligation to implement it. This does not give FCGOLD ownership of unrelated confidential material or personal content you did not intend as product feedback.
22. FCGOLD Premium status
FCGOLD Premium is currently a planned product and no purchase is available in the present build. Premium benefits, pricing, billing periods and availability shown as “planned” or “coming later” may change before launch.
23. Premium purchases and renewal
If Premium launches, the purchase screen will identify the price, currency, billing period, whether the subscription renews automatically, material benefits, trial terms if any and how to cancel before the user confirms purchase. Purchases may be processed by Apple App Store, Google Play or another permitted billing provider depending on platform and territory. Store/provider terms also apply.
24. Cancellation, refunds and consumer rights
When Premium launches, cancellation will stop future renewal but normally will not erase access already paid for until the end of the current entitlement period unless the store/provider rules say otherwise. Refunds are subject to applicable law and the relevant payment/store process. Nothing in these Terms removes statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
25. Price or benefit changes
FCGOLD may change Premium pricing or benefits prospectively. Where law or store rules require advance notice or renewed consent, FCGOLD will provide it. Material changes should not be applied retroactively to an already-paid fixed period except where required for security, law or service viability and permitted by law.
26. Account suspension and termination
FCGOLD may warn, restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security threats, abuse, repeated Terms violations, unlawful conduct or risk to other users/services. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination. Where appropriate and legally required, FCGOLD should provide notice and a reasonable appeal/support route.
27. Ending your account
You may stop using FCGOLD at any time and, when connected accounts launch, request account deletion from the in-app account controls. Deleting the FCGOLD account does not automatically delete an EA account or other third-party account. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions where a store requires them to be.
28. Service availability and changes
FCGOLD depends partly on third-party data, app stores, network services and game interfaces. FCGOLD does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may be changed to improve quality, respond to game updates, protect security, comply with law, respect third-party rights or manage technical/commercial viability.
29. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, FCGOLD is provided on an “as available” basis and does not guarantee that every data point, recommendation, match, price, image or external integration will be accurate, complete or continuously available. These disclaimers do not exclude any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded for consumers.
30. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, FCGOLD should not be liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was made, or for business losses suffered by a consumer using the service for personal purposes. Final monetary/liability caps, if any, must be legally reviewed for the launch operator and territories.
31. Your responsibility for breach
You are responsible for losses or claims caused by your unlawful misuse of FCGOLD or material breach of these Terms to the extent allowed by applicable law. FCGOLD will not use this clause to remove statutory protections or shift responsibility for FCGOLD’s own unlawful conduct.
32. Privacy
FCGOLD processes personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is not intended to reduce rights you have under applicable data-protection law.
33. Changes to these Terms
FCGOLD may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes should be presented with reasonable notice and, where required, fresh acceptance. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
34. Governing law and courts
The planned baseline is the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. If you are a consumer, nothing here prevents you from relying on any mandatory local rights or bringing proceedings in a court that applicable consumer law entitles you to use. This clause must be confirmed during final legal review.
35. Entire agreement, severability and waiver
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any specific paid-feature terms form the agreement for your use of FCGOLD. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent possible. A delay in enforcing a right does not automatically waive it.
